No. I find the idea that it's a conspiracy an absolute disgrace. Why would the US government destroy it's own economic epicentre? They're not helping themselves by doing that, more off they're actually badly hindering themselves. There's too much evidence that Osama Bin Laden was behind it. This being the attacks on the embassy in Nigeria and how Osama himself declare a 'war on the west'. One guy who I was talking to who said it was a conspiracy also said Sadam Hussein and Colonel Gaddafi didn't do anything (oh no Saddam just killed almost a million kurds by gas attacks and Gaddafi was a tyrant for about 35 years). Just gives you an idea of the kind of people who believe these kinds of things.
Not. 9/11 happened. There was forewarning, but it was unsubstantiated. Agencies back then were rivals when it came to intel. They still are; however, they share more than before. Every agency has it's own secrets that it does not want to share for whatever the reason. But they have modified the rules of the Game to better combat terrorism. And it is working.
Calling 9/11 a conspiracy is like calling Pearl Harbor a conspiracy. Is the US guilty of mishandling intel? In hind site, yes. At the time, no; it was business as usual.
Conspiracy
Not. Muslims have been taking hostages and blowing up people since the '72 Olympics (and Islam is rooted in violence from it's beginning), so the attacks should come as no huge surprise. No connection has ever been established between the hijackers and any element of the US government. We've managed to launch plenty of wars with a lot less provocation, eg. Spanish-American War and WWI. Do I think the military-industrial complex used the incident to encourage a war? Yes, because of simple profit motives. This is why wars are supposed to be declared by Congress, not the president.
unless you are directly involved in such attacks or are associated with the highest figures of government then one cannot say whether or not the attacks on 9/11 we're an inside job or not. false flag attacks have been used by governments throughout history for a variety of reasons. however if you take "everything" any government says as truth then you are quite foolish in my opinion. power corrupts thus politicians should be changed often just like diapers. in regards to the government of the USA and using false flag attacks as a catalyst for war you should research the Gulf of Tonkin attack and enlighten yourself. as far as 9/11 I can say I have no opinion either way but I am an open minded person as most people should be. the "real" truth about 9/11 may never be known whether it was 100% terrorist or otherwise. one fact we can all agree on is that many thousands of innocent people from all walks of life were brutally murdered and that is a tragedy many millions will never forget.
I believe it is NOT a conspiracy. The us said osama sent us videos of him talking right? The first two videos he said he had nothing to do with the 911 attacks. Osama sent these videos to us. Now the last two videos osama all of a sudden changes his mind and says he is responsible. And these tapes we're "found" by the CIA. And the last two tapes he looks COMPLETELY different. His nose is smaller and he is clearly a lot "heavier." I could understand if he lost weight but gained that much by hiding in the mountains? It was clearly a fake video tape! And I don't care if people get mad at my response but the bottom line is the us wanted an excuse to invade Iraq. (If you don't like what I have to say people guess what? Idgaf! I'm just answering his question )
have you ever come accross a conspiracy that turned out to be correct?
Just curious on thoughts from the populous
