British sitcoms were better back in the 90s with stuff like Only Fools and Horses, Men Behaving Badly, Gimme Gimme Gimme, Mr Bean, Absolutely Fabulous etc. Today British sitcoms are hardly funny, the only sitcoms I find funny nowadays are Family Guy and the Big Bang Theory.
i tend to stick to the British ones, and for one reason only, i cannot stand watching anything with canned laughter, and sadly American tv networks ruin many excellently written programmes with ridiculous fake canned laughter
