The next generation, they go more in-depth on the crew and the ship than in TOS and they also have more of an adventure, in TOS they would do a lot and it was really good, but they really stayed on the bridge, and the alien races didn't look as good

I like the original series more. And I like the original series movies even more than that. Voyager is my favorite series though.

"better" is so subjective. Kirk was a better explorer, but Picard was a better diplomat. TNG had superior production values, but TOS was far more groundbreaking. TNG had the Borg, but TOS had lots and lots of miniskirts ... very tough call, there.

I'll admit, I'm a Trekkie :) Which series do you think is better, original series or the next generation?

Personally, I like the next generation. Picard is a better captain, plus they took on the Borg!
