Seems to me that Irene was worse no power for a week. Didn't lose power this time and other than the rain looks like the storm has ended. As for the weather people being accurate LMAO, hardly ever right, I prefer looking out the window usually it's the opposite outside to their predictions. They were more accurate before all the new fangled electronic equipment.
I agree!! We have stronger winds in Wellington, NZ on a regular basis....! I'm thinking of the animals/pets more than the humans right now....Poor souls must be so scared
the reporters and news agencys want to take the people minds off of this horrible election process

I don't know about you guys but I can't help but laugh about it. Yes the storm is horrible, but if you listen to what the news reporters are saying, and the words they're using, and how they're saying those words are laughable. They want to make this hurricane seem worse than Katrina, they're trying to hard
