finding good comedy shows with characters that aren't two dimensional are hard these days. i've managed to find these gems however:
brooklyn nine-nine
trophy wife (unfortunately this also got cancelled but the first season is still worth watching)
the goldbergs
modern family (the early seasons were great)
orange is the new black

Scandal (don't watch it but it gets rave reviews every day)

Dunno if you watch reality TV but Wahlburgers is a great show especially if you're a fan of any of the Wahlberg family. Plus there's very little drama just feel good moments everywhere you'll love it!
Any anime or Asian dramas will work, too. If you'd like, you can start off with Dream High which is like Glee sort of...but way better and less stupid :~)

I only started watching Community this year, because it started showing up in heavy rotation repeats. Seen in the space of a few months, I'll make the statement that it had slipped a lot and was basically out of interesting plots. Be glad it was ended before it could hang around another few seasons.
Can you honestly say the last episode was as good as anything during the first two or three seasons? It had gone stale, let it go.
At this point they should think about pulling the trigger on the Big Bang Theory as well, which is basically just Friends with less pretty Friends. They churn out a half dozen new versions of Friends every year. Beautiful people with a set number of jokes about their two dimensional characters.
The Big Bang Theory is at the point where they have a season or two left, at most, where the prospect of Leonard and Penny getting married will be most of the central plots, with the other characters basically having minor adventures which are just ten minutes of their basic character points, about like the way the last few seasons of Friends became, when most of the episodes involved several small plots. So next season will be them getting married and possibly Kelly Coucou being pregnant as this star is recently married, which like all such things will kill the series off. This show has hit its farewell season next year or the year after, as it is one of the few current powerhouses. So next year, they'll use it to launch a bunch of mediocre replacements, the year after likely will see it end.
The Tv Season is over. Hope for the new season, because there isn't a sitcom on television right now worth going out of your way to watch. A lot of crap. I suggest trolling Hulu looking for old tv shows which you missed.
New Girl sounds super girly but my boyfriend got a few good laughs from it too.
Invest in Netflix it's a LIFESAVER for like $7 a month!!!
So today my favorite show Community got canceled and I am beyond upset about it. I love.community and to think there will never be another new episode boggles my mind. Does anybody know any shows currently on TV that are as good as community. My other favorite show is FRIENDS but that's been off the air for like a decade now. I love TV and now I have no favorite show, it's like that feeling when you really want to watch tv but there's nothing good on. Any advice would be appreciated
