Yeah the Mayan calendar clearly states we're all going to die and obviously they could see the future because in the past humans had a 6th sense, they could see way into the future. At the time of the mayans evolution had almost got rid of this sense but the creator of the calendar still had it but he only ever saw one thing, the world ending. he had sudden visions of it which motivated him to create the calendar. if you read other mayan scriptures you'll see they describe modern clothing and music (it even mentions a description of gangnam style) and the world ending tomorrow. it's all true and there's nothing to do about it, say goodbye :(

The most likely and realistic scenario is that 5 billion years from now the earth will be swallowed up by a red giant called our sun. In fact all life on earth will probably be destroyed well before the sun becomes a red giant, due to the heat alone.

I live in Australia so today is the 21st and it is 3 am atm. nothing has happened. no power outs. no earth quakes. no extremely high or low temps. no storms. and the calender didn't say the world was going to end it said that the poles would change but that happens over hundreds of years. dw everythings fine.
