If the UK's resources were stretched, these items would be refinanced elsewhere. And the situation would become one of concern for the Islanders sovereignty.

Against a combined Latin American armed force, the UK would lose.
So as we know the United Kingdom and Argentina don`t get a long very well politically. With the claims of the sovranty over the Falklands/ Malvinas. The question is if the Falklands War was to happen in 2012-2013 who do you think would win compared to 1982.
