The huge tragedy here is that this statement here could actually be true.
The USA govt has lied so often that no one in their right mind believes anything put out by USA authorities. Trust has been broken and cant be put back. So, we are left with a bunch of scared people who do not know what to believe.

The KKK was only started by six guys in the same year that Lincoln was shot. Booth was a Confederate sympathiser, a hater of Lincoln, and a pro slavery nut. So, you're wrong there.

JFK? The most plausible conspiracy theory points the finger at a few shadowy figures in the Pentagon and senior industrial defense executives angry with Kennedy about defense budget cuts and his moves to end the cold war and pull out of Vietnam.
They contracted a group working with the free Cuba movement in New Orleans run by an ex FBI agent called Guy Bannister. Bannister, with the help of his cubans and the New Orleans Mafia (who both hated Kennedy for his refusal to invade Cuba) brought in professional assassins from Europe via Mexico. A wealthy local businessman called Clay Shaw was later brought to trial (accused of aiding the enterprise) and found not guilty.
The Mafia and cubans handled transport, safe houses and other logistics for the hitmen. Oswald worked for Bannister's outfit and as an anti Castro agent but was used by the conspirators as the fall guy, the 'patsy' to take the blame and divert attention from the conspiracy. When he wasn't playing ball, the Mafia in the shape of Jack Ruby killed him to silence him.
The big question is why did Ruby do it? He stood only to die in the electric chair. My guess is that he was blackmailed and his family threatened.
