The Bold and the Beautiful has received its ninth consecutive nomination for the Monte Carlo Television Festival's International TV Audience Awards in the "Telenovela/Soap Opera" category, the festival and Mediamétrie/Eurodata Worldwide announced last week. Winning this award for the last eight years, The Bold and the Beautiful remains the most watched series in the world, in its genre.
In addition, the show announced that Australian actress Ashleigh Brewer (Neighbours) has been cast in the newly created role of Ivy Forrester, niece of series patriarch Eric Forrester (John McCook).
Maybe Ivy is a model to replace Maya, as her pouty attitude and sultry attempt to seduce The MAN in the steamroom is gonna get her nowheresville fast!
Maybe she will be a love interest for Wyatt.
