I think Rick is going to blow it. Spoilers say Eric is impressed by the results of Caroline and Ridge working together and wants them to continue the collaboration. When Rick opposes this Eric isn't impressed. Eric may reverse his decision again.
I think a possible plan is to reunite Brooke and Ridge and make them the new Eric-Stephanie of FC. But the fans of Katie and Ridge, Brooke and Bill are still holding out for them to stay together.
I just don't see how Rick and Ridge are supposed to work together in this environment. One of them should leave and start their own fashion business.
I am sure daddy Eric will give the company to Ridge which is a sad thing considering Ridge is really not his son and Massimo is his father and poor Thorne just like always is left out in the cold OR the basement ...... where is the justice?
I say no, you are forgetting Rick's or any of the Logan's shares.shares.
Besides I don't think Bill will help dues to his love interest in Brooke and so he would want Rick to be on his good side for his mother sakes.
Also for the way things are going it doesn't matter who has or how much shares anymore.
When Steffy got Forrester back from Bill, the break down was:
Ridge: 25%
Eric: 25%
Stephanie: 25%
Taylor: 25%
Ridge gave 5% to Thomas
Eric lost 12.5% to Donna in his divorce who sold it to Bill
Stephanie left her 25% to Eric in her will
Taylor gave her 25% to Steffy
The breakdown is now:
Ridge: 20%
Eric: 37.5%
Steffy: 25%
Thomas: 5%
Bill: 12.5%
If Ridge gets proxies from his kids, plus his own shares, that gives him a 50% control. If he convinces Bill to help him they would have controlling interest in the company
Bill could help him for two reasons:
1) The current setup involves Rick treating Caroline like crap and Bill could help give her the upper hand by helping take Rick out of power
2) Bill has always wanted to take F/C away from Eric.
