if you mean the end of the world the answer is no because the Mayan calender refers to the end of era and the beginning of a new one, which is nothing to do with the end of the world

Calenders are cycles, as they come to an end, they begin again. Just some typical conspiracy nuts, frightening the masses while selling books and getting rich of their "findings" ahem ahem. Plus Hollywood cashing in on peoples fears by bringing out movies and such...it's all entertainment for the money hungry...and they know it....and they are laughing at the people who have fallen for the idea
The Mayans never predicted an Apocalypse of any sort. That part is true. All of a sudden people become experts on a 5000 year old cycle...yet half the world is still arguing over the "son of God" from 2000 years ago....we are kinda useless at keeping track of things aren't we???

I think it might. You have to look at the facts an all the Mumbo jumbo of the alignment. It wasn't just a prediction. It's based off facts. The Mayans were so far ahead of their time and magnificent astronomers.
