Far too ambiguous. Obviously the Anderson theory and fan girl theory are utter crap, the Sherlock theory on paper looks plausible and neat. But on the other hand, did Sherlock tell the truth to Anderson? If he did, why would he care so much about Anderson knowing the truth. The writers have kept it open.
@Anon. It's based on the books, Moriarty is dead and isn't coming back. That's what happens in the book that's what happened now.
No, what we were given was Anderson representing all of Fandom when he realized that Sherlock wasn't going to tell him. He was all like "WHAT?! NO NO NO NO! AHH!" and tore his stuff down. Basically the point they made was, "Hello, fandom? Yeah, we don't want to say why he survived, instead here's a clip of Moriarty and Sherlock about to kiss."
No explanation. The one he gave to Anderson could of been the real thing, and is the only thing that sounds plausible, but I expect we'll get the answer when he and Moriarty next meet.
So, I obviously watched the whole season three, yet there was still no accurate answer to the question of how Sherlock survived! So, just wondering, did I miss something, or there really was no explanation given?
