As comedic actors, I can appreciate their art form, but I never really enjoyed it myself. I would rather have PeeWee Herman at my birthday party. He's a modern clown and as such, most people don't recognize that he is a clown. People also seem to be okay with familiar clowns such as Ronald McDonald. Circus clowns are kind of scary and freakish; full of unfamiliarity.

I love clowns. I'm not so wild about juggalos, or haunted house clowns, but real clowns are great. Has anyone who says they hate clowns ever actually met a real one?
