I am honestly torn.
I think he is dead. But then this is Days of Our Lives and the people of Salem do tend to not die like normal people do.
The show has kept pretty quiet about the whole incident, no mention of Blake ceasing filming. So I think he is alive.

A article in CBS Soaps In Depth Blake Berris/Nick took to twitter and cryptically said he was neither confirming nor denying his possible departure.

Wouldn't that be great if the whole secret of the body disposal comes out. Gabi loses custody of Ari. The three of them end up on trial. The show drags it out to February and JUST as they are about to be found guilty in the Murder of Nick Fallon (spectators looking on, drying tears, holding hands and praying for an acquittal) the doors to the courtroom will slam open BANG!!!
And a soggy and filthy, but alive Nick Fallon walks through the doors....
I think he's dead and I hope he stays that way... This show has already met their quota of murder trials this year! Lol
He might wash up somewhere or his body may but I think he's dead. Good riddance!
Just me but I think he is. And he will come back and try to kill Gabi and possibly kidnap Aria.
Since there is no body, he probably is.
