People have their own belief systems, myself i support gay marriage, but accept others don't and freedom of speech and freedom of religion is why i support him even if i disagree with him. No matter your beliefs you should accept what others believe in. I learned as a CNA if my patient is gay or Islamic, or just plain stupid that they have the right to express themselves because this is America. As for an A&E they are wrong.
A&E is being hypicritical when one person's right to free speech is being censored by another person opinion. Is it going to get to the point if your not pro gay or lesbian you can't have your own opinion. When did this group get the right to censor everyone else.
Its a non-issue regarding a non-celebrity...dingbat 'christians' will spend the next week trying to make you think otherwise though.
First of all I'm not a fan of the show, but I have seen a few episodes. I find nothing wrong with what goes on in the show, and I can respect their christian views.
However, on Facebook I've seen all of these support pages and pictures with hundreds of thousands of likes of Phil Robertson with captions along the lines of "I support Phil Robertson's religion and beliefs." It confuses me because are they liking the picture because they like him or do they agree with his remarks on homosexuality?
In my opinion, A&E doesn't owe him anything. It's their network, and they will do as they please.
Anyways, what does everyone else think about this?!
