It's what rapists do I'm afraid or killers. They don't believe what they've done wrong and they believe their own lies. I'm not sympathizing with Deano but when he was in a bad state he didn't think about what he was doing and he raped Linda, so he obviously can't think straight. I think Deano always intended on making a move on her since he's a creep.

Deano doesn't seem to realise he raped Linda. He thinks they are in a relationship. I think his mind has gone.

I think he's aware what he done was wrong but now he's just trying to block it out and tell himself it was consensual. He was really jumpy the first ep after the rape

He either doesn't think he has done anything wrong, whether that's because he is delusional and genuinely thinks she consented to it, or because he is a sociopath and simply does not care.

Alternatively he knows what he's done, and by pretending he's done nothing wrong he can stay in denial and not have to admit to himself he is a rapist.

Could be any of these.
