If u like Friday night lights watch parenthood. It's by the same people and they have a lot of the FNL actors on it and even though it's about a whole family and you would think its a show for your parents, i love it and every episode makes u laugh or cry. I'm 17 and it's my favorite show. It's so real and so many things can be related back to real life but not in the boring way some shows do it

Try Orphan Black, Continuum, or Vikings.

They're all highly rated and awesome.

Try sherlock or doctor who. Both are great and I know you didn't really mention any scifi type shows, but doctor who is excellent as is sherlock.

I honestly think you'd really like sherlock because it's centered around suspense and crime.

Try The Secret Life of The American Teenager, Gossip Girl, The Fosters, Teen Mom, Greek, Weeds, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, Breaking Bad, The Lying Game, Lost, Once Upon a Time, Pretty Little Liars, and Survivors.

I like the exact same genre you do and these are shows I enjoy.

So summer has started and i'm looking for a good tv shows that matches my style/theme. As you can probably tell from the list below i prefer tv shows that are more centered around teens, but i dont want to hear about girl drama 24/7 something spicy like twisted had love drama but their were was other drama (murder etc..).

I dont really want to watch a show about comedy (that 70 shows/family guy/how i met your mother etc..) Teen drama is the way to go, doesn't have to be about teens though. Walking dead and game of thrones arn't all about teenage problems and they are still good shows. Something with a good plot and something that isn't super old (no buffy or degrassi, something over 2008).

PS: I dont want to watch a show that gets canceled part way in the season or ends the season in with a cliffhanger and then gets canceled. The tv show you post can be canceled or have already ended but it has to have a complete end where they wrap everything up, no cliff hangers.
