The current situation of the Jet Stream started over in Asia - very much what goes around, comes around. I'm not sure how you know the JS move is permanent. Perhaps we should all start blowing and get the thing to move back up again ...... or maybe getting cattle to fart might do the job.....?
Add Wind speeds of over 100 mph ARE considered to be hurricanes. So we've had one since Christmas. Even if Michael Fish suggested otherwise !!!
Maybe if we all ate a tin of baked beans each and faced the same way, that will solve the problem?? Well it has about as much chance of working as messing around with a few wind turbines to try and control a weather system miles up into the atmosphere!
We will not get hurricanes. The energy in the sea is not there for a storm to feed on.

The predictions of hurricanes and an ice age are coming true.
The jet stream has changed it's path permanently, the 3 large low pressure will keep circulating near Britain, each one bringing more wind, hurricanes, floods, etc...
I predict if the 3 low pressures join, it will become a huge hurricane problem.
Wind speeds of over 200mph will follow.
An ice age will quickly follow, due to constant fast wind speeds, pulling heat from the ground and freezing the ground.
Coastal erosion is causing sea levels to rise, increasing tidal heights.
It's a recipe for disaster.
The effect is accelerating.
Drastic action is needed.
I suggest controlling the weather.
The Jet stream path needs to be artificially moved back up to above Britain.
This will correct the weather problems.
This can be done possibly, by harnessing all available wind turbines, making them all face 'East' and using their dynamo's like electric motors, to turn the turbine blades, and blow wind towards the East, (Bernoulli Principle) of attraction between parallel winds will draw the jet stream back up country, towards the North (Scotland) and above Britain.
I suggest this is done quickly, to move the jet stream back to where it was originally.
To calm the weather situation down.
I suggest the jet stream is fickle, and will suddenly go back to it's original position and has been trying to.
It just needs a nudge in the right direction!
