I think you could inhale a piece of glitter and it would hurt. As for choked to death, maybe if you were foaming at the mouth & at the bottom of a vat of glitter.

No, of course not. In order to choke on an object it should be able to block your trachea (larynx). A glitter simply is too small to be able to do that. It can cause discomfort, but it won't result in you choking to death. However if you would try to swallow a complete bag of glitters, it may result in a choking death....but who in their right mind would do that? If that had already happened it would have been in the news.

Yes, you can choke on anything you can fit into your mouth.
