How did hitler die in germany?

Its not really known but current belief is that he took a cyanide capsule and was shot by an SS member in the head (through the mouth ) on Hitler's orders to be sure he was dead.

1. He took a cyanide capsule.

2. Shot him self in the head with a pistol.

I know because my husband watches every single Hitler show on History Channel. And the Military Channel. Take it to the bank.

Shot himself as a bit down on a cyanide tablet. Truly a cowards way out

Hitler, Himmler, Goering, Goebbels, (perhaps Bormann)....the list goes on and on. Actually many nazi's (7, 057 in 1945 alone) killed themselves. It was truly a cowards army

There are a number of conflicting descriptions of how he died, all of them very suspect. He is said to married his long time lover Eva Braun, then after she committed suicide, Mr Hitler is said to have ended his own life with a pistol shot to the side of his head. The reason these descriptions are suspect is there is only a very small group of witnesses, all of them hand picked loyal followers of Mr Hitler, not exactly reliable informants for enemy investigators. Another reason for doubting the 'death stories' is that the Bunker in Berlin had a number of escape tunnels which Mr Hitler could have easily used to escape after having a 'double' shot, Mr Hitler had a number of lookalikes, and a man shot in the head is difficult to identify if a good enough double was used. There are also reports of Mr Hitler being seen at an airfield in Germany, then is Spain where he is said to have bordered a Uboat to sail to Argentina. Mr J.Edgar Hoover never believed Mr Hitler died in Berlin and issued instructions for FBI Officers to be on the lookout for reports of his whereabouts, Stalin also did not think Mr Hitler died in Berlin, add to this that many high ranking Nazi's 'did' escape without trace from Germany, and the chance Mr Hitler died in seclusion in an Argentine village is not impossible. Add to this the hundreds of millions of dollars in stolen German assets taken by escaping Nazi's, and you have a believable scenario of escape. The most compelling evidence of escape is the lack of a body. Even if the body was supposedly burned outside the Bunker, dental records would have provided proof of identity, no such body was found. As for Mr Hitlers last days, they are as suspect as his death, the man reported as Hitler seen boarding aircraft in Germany and Spain could easily have been a decoy. One investigator claims Mr Hitler's last days in Argentina were pretty miserable as Eva became quarrelsome (he claimed) and Mr Borman is said to have bullied him, but until someone can provide any sound evidence and check-able facts, historians will never know for sure.

He took poison and then shot himself in the temple in his Berlin bunker before the Russian Army could capture him.

Cyanide; then a gunshot to the head. After that his sycophants took him outside his bunker and cremated him.

Others in the bunker followed suit.

The fools.

Suicide. He shot him self and swallowed a poison capsule at same time.

He killed himself in his bunker when the Allied forces were closing in on Berlin. He killed his dog and his wife before as well.

Why did I get so many down votes? I'm right!

He knew that he has lost the war, therefore he killed first his wide and his dog, and then himself. I believe it was in an underground bunker!

Nobody knows for sure. A body has never been proven to be his. The world will probably never know.
