There is a shirt available that says, "If Daryl dies, we riot!" I think it is safe to say that Daryl is safe for awhile. The character of Daryl isn't even the comic books but was created specifically for Norman Reddis so I think not only is the character a fan but the creator(s) are a fan of his work. So, I think if someone had to die it would be Glenn. Personally, I like Glenn but it is either him or Maggie one of them is going to die. It is foreshadowed with the whole burning of the picture scene. My money is on Maggie.

I like Carl. I think Carl is one of the most realistic characters on the show because it shows what happens to children who grow up in extremely violent situations (e.g. genocides, wars). Plus, we know more about him. With Carol, Sasha, Tyresse, Bob etc, we really don't have much of a back story on them. So, we aren't as emotionally invested.

At this point Daryl is a boat anchor. The episodes focusing on him were the worst of the season, if not the worst of the series. I'd actually be happy if they killed him off. I'd miss Glenn a lot more, but Daryl has outlived his welcome and is in danger of dragging the show down with him if they don't work hard next season to fix that.

I wouldnt be surprise. The whole point of the show/comic is no one is safe. It doesnt matter if you are important, popular, good, bad, etc.

Has Glenn and Daryl killed off at some point? Besides Rick, those 2 are the fan favorites and I think most prefer those 2 over Hershel who died obviously. People were really upset, like crying upset when he died and if Glenn and Daryl are the bigger fish, who knows what hardcore fan would do. I'd be upset, but not as upset if Rick or Carl died.
