A self-important sanctimonious weasel who's the resident buzzkill when the others do anything. One or two women later, he gets delusions of alphaism of the whole pack...the same as sheldon whom He hates...but I'll take a wacky scientist over a whining "everyone's father wannabe" anyday.
You're supposed to Like Leonard.... he is your point of identity in the program. Leonard exists as the "Everyman" surrounded by odd friends.
Did you see the one where he referred to an African-American character as a "******"? It was really in poor taste.

i hate leonard so much! this is a guy who constantly screw his friends.
He betrays Howard by going out with dr Stephanie
He goes to Will Wheaton's party, and tries bringing along the rest of the group, knowing full well that Will is Sheldon's enemy and that Sheldon is very upset about it.
When he invites Bernadette to his experiment without talking to Howard and Howard protests, he goes behind Howard's back and tells Penny things that were said to him.
When Sheldon had Elizabeth Plimpton over, Leonard sleeps with her behind Sheldon's back and it's somehow funny when Sheldon says that he feels betrayed.
He sleeps with Priya after Rajesh forbids his friends from sleeping with his sister and continues despite Rajesh being clearly upset about it. then he gets upset with rajesh for not telling him priya is leaving.
he guilts penny to having sex with him by manipulating her with what his mother did to him in the book penny was studying
then the dvd part, again somehow its Sheldon's fault that he forgets to return the dvd.
then i hate how he constantly push the marriage mistake Penny made, over and over in her face about it. he could just shut up and just wait until monday to sign the papers but he doesnt!
i can understand why everyone in his family seems to hate him, no wonder he gets a "lenny" sweater and his brother gets a car!
if not for sheldon, he would be dead or caught by homeland security when his rocket fuel exploded and never would have met Penny!
there are many more reasons but i think its enough.
i used to hate Howard for being such a big perv and he was truly disgusting to penny. but Howard is the one who has grown the most. Leonard is supposed to be the hero of the show but he always whines and complains about everything!
Sheldon on the other hand doesnt know better as he is totally clueless about social conduct but he will always try to explain it in his usual logical way.
