You should talk to the police officers again. If you ever see him watching you while you're in your house, call the cops immediately and tell them that there's a creeper staring at you. Don't let the geezer know you called the cops, otherwise he'll make a run for it. If the cops don't believe you, show them the disgusting texts (if you still have them). If that still doesn't help, tell someone at school (not a friend, but a trusting adult who will help you get something done about the stalker).

I'm pretty sure if you change your Facebook settings to "Private", you'd be fine. But still, just to be on the safe side, it would be best to have a new Facebook page instead of staying on your old one. If you have 1700 friends (hypothetically saying that they're actually "friends" and not just a bunch of people added on your page, tell them you got a new page.

Talk with your parents. They will possibly contact the police and/or school.

facebook and the like are very bad for privacy. Take all your personal information down and respectfully un-friend anyone you don't know via face to face interactions.

Once your information is out, it is out. You must assume ANYTHING you put online will fall into 'bad' hands, and not just your friends follow you.

It is a hard lesson to learn, but acting a little paranoid is a good thing.

The old joke goes: Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they are NOT out to get you.

Also, in case you haven't, download copies of ALL your pictures, just 'in case' you must delete your Facebook profile.

Privacy settings just let your friends see your page. And next time he approaches you, record him with your phone coming towards you and what he says, then call the newspaper in your town and tell them what you've got on tape. Guaranteed, the newspaper will take your story and run with it.

Be brave, dear. Don't go with him, record him, run away if you feel threatened. And call the newspaper.

You contact your local law enforcement. They have people trained to deal with that kind of person.

so this past week i discovered i was being followed and stalked by an old man who is 65, and im only 14 btw, and he got my number, texted me disgusting things and said he was going to rape me. he tracked me down to my house and has been watching me for a while. i brought this all to the police but theyre letting him walk..and my parents made me get a new facebook so i couldnt be found. which im annoyed about because i dont want to start a whole new facebook! i have 1700 friends and 1200 pictures! if i just fix my privacy settings, do you think i could still keep my facebook?
