I thought the first two seasons were intense and amazing. The next two seasons it seemed as if the writers/producers had lost their way. There was an abundance of long, drawn-out story lines, the introduction of countless new characters rather than fleshing out existing characters. But even during those seasons there were plenty of good episodes. It remains a must-watch for me despite some missteps.
