Is 'The Walking Dead' good?

Im a fan of the series. I started watching it about 9 months ago and finished the 4th season. 5th season is almost here. Trust me you will love the series, it has just like you said character relationships with alot of depth, drama is really good but sometimes a cliffhanger for a new episode but it won't be a problem if you are watching from season 1. Alot of people die and it's super sad and people get all emotional which is nice at some point but might get on your nerves if you are a cold hearted person like me. Trust me it has everything you want to see from a zombie series. 1 episode budget for the newer episodesis over 2,8 million which is guaranteed to make it look good. I hope this helped. Also on a sidenote don't google it too much or you will be spoiled.

Overall it's a good show, but it's highly uneven due to behind-the-scenes politics. It's on its third or fourth showrunner due to AMC's budget cuts and has also had a lot of changes in writing staff with each showrunner. Season 1 is really good. Season 2 dragged. Seasons 3 and 4 were uneven, but season 4 was mostly better than season 3 despite the fact that it had a few of the worst episodes of the series to date.

I'd say judge for yourself. Watch season 1 and decide if you want to invest in it.

It's a good show. It has it's kind of dry character development moments in the early seasons but overall a great show.

Also I'd recommend Arrow and Person of Interest. Those are probably the two favorite dramas on tv. Arrow - a Batman-style take on the superhero Green Arrow.

Person of Interest, where to begin? Show stars Jim Caviezel (Jesus from the Passion), show was created by Jonathan Nolan (brother to Christopher Nolan, director of Dark Knight trilogy and exec producer of Man of Steel), and the show's exec producer is JJ Abrams (directed new Star Trek movies and the new Star Wars movies, among other things).

I never watched The Walking Dead, but Superrnatural is my all time favorite show! Some shows that are similar are Sherlock, Doctor Who, Hannibal, Charmed (it's an older show, but it has the same idea), X-Files, American Horror Story, and Teen Wolf. (It's actually quite similar to Supernatural, especially the last two seasons. Don't let the name fool you, it's nothing like Twilight.) I know people who watch The Walking Dead and it seems similar to Supernatural.

Personally, I enjoyed it a lot and some character in it are awesome and some you can easily attach to. I loved supernatural and so maybe we both have similar tastes of shows? It is very emotional. It is humorous (Sometimes), Drama, action, horror and is really sad in some parts. The story line is cool too. This is my opinion though so check it out yourself and hopefully you'll enjoy it as much as I do.

Yeah sure. Oh and since you like Supernatural, I suggest Doctor Who and Sherlock. After all, there's a 'SuperWhoLock' fandom.

Yeah agreed first 3 seasons are good then it gets pretty bad. But it's worth watching for the first three seasons.

Yes. You can also try watching Breaking Bad which focuses on the development of characters and relationships that build up and fall apart. Orange is the New Black is a good show too.

You'll like the first few seasons, at least. I've gotten bored with it now.

Have you watched Firefly? How about Dollhouse?

first 3 seasons are good but imo season 4 sucked and it just seems they are dragging the story way too long.

I'm looking for a new TV show because I'm almost finished my favourite one: 'Supernatural'. I'm just wondering if 'The Walking Dead' is anything like it? Aha I'm looking for something with amazing character relationships, gore where nescessary, drama, character deaths, and a lot of emotions. Basically a lot like SPN. Is 'The Walking Dead' good for me? If not can you suggest something else?
