Is &Game of Thrones& Good?

I love Sherlock, Doctor Who, The Walking Dead, and Dexter, just like you!

Personally, I thought Game of Thrones was brilliant. I just watched all three seasons this past week. But it is rather slow-paced at times and it can be overhyped. I think people either really love it or really dislike it. I'm not sure if one can be a casual viewer of it. I say keep giving it a chance, because I think season 2 kind of picked up speed? Season 1 was rather slow from what I remember, so try a few episodes into season 2 to see if you're still interested. Season 3 was really action-filled and thrilling, so I definitely think Game of Thrones is a show worth watching.

Also, might I recommend Sons of Anarchy and Supernatural?

People who love Doctor Who and Sherlock also tend to LOVE Supernatural. Supernatural is personally my favorite show on the planet. It starts off sort of campy and cheesy but it quickly becomes amazing. It actually has some of the best acting I've ever seen on TV, despite being a cable TV show. It's got action, thriller, humor, and emotion. I can't sing its praises enough. I raced through 8 seasons of it on Netflix in like a month, so you can imagine how badly this show hooked me. I've never laughed so hard at a TV show before and then the next second been freaked out and then the next second emotionally distraught. Best of all the worlds!

And I get the feeling that you may like Sons of Anarchy if you liked Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead. SOA is really action-filled and SERIOUSLY bad-a**. I know people think Breaking Bad is bad-a** (and it is), but I think SOA is even more. It's dangerous, has tons of action, has great acting, a cast of tough characters you really come to love, tons of shocks, and some dry humor. It's about a biker gang and it's the kind of show I thought I would hate---but by season 2, I was pretty much clinging to my computer, desperately watching episode after episode.

Peace!

well i like the same shows you do and do like game of thrones, but i read the books before it was a tv series and now hate how mainstream it has become. its a quality show but because i have read the books i hate how they change everything around and leave out the best parts...

i suggest reading the books for a better experience

For me, the best site for movies and TV shows has to be http://uwatchfreemovies.com . Thanks to this service, I have been watching the latest episodes of my favorite shows for months and I also get to watch some pretty popular movies. If I were you, I would check this service out right now.

Trust me, you will not regret it if you carry on watching it, each series gets better and series three is by far the best. I love it it's amazing.

Yes, it is great, and I love Sean Bean.

The walking dead is good too.

well yeah

but i like greys anatomy and the big bang theory better

yes

After hearing so many great things about Breaking Bad, people saying it's one of the best shows ever made, I decided to check it out after it ended. I can see what people mean, it is absolutely f***ing brilliant, regret not watching it before, it's now one of my favourite shows. I've finished the show (one of the best endings to a show, in my opinion), I just wanted a new show to start watching. I heard great things about Game of Thrones, so I checked it out. I'm on S1 ep. 7 and so far, don't hate me for this, but I think it's a bit overrated. I like the show, I think it's well made, told, written and acted, but I feel like people have overhyped it a bit. Does the show get better, later on? That's what I really want to know. If later on it's sort of the same thing, I might stop watching it. Also do you have any recommendations for show to check out, here are shows I love or just like;

Breaking Bad (love)

Sherlock (love)

Doctor Who (love)

The Walking Dead (like)

Dexter: S1, 2 and 4 are the only good seasons in my opinion. The ending was just terrible.
