Is halloween cancelled in New York?

Posted at: 2015-04-20
I haven't heard anything about New York City cancelling or moving Halloween. But I did hear on the news that New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie has officially moved Halloween for residents of his state from Wednesday, October 31 to Saturday, November 3. I haven't heard of any other changes in any of the other states affected by the storm.

Make a private party at home with friends and family and go out next year anyway HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Yes its been cancelled and so has the parade in ny bloomburg with set and let everyone know call 311 to comform

No the hurricane is just God's version of Trick or Treat.

Why should it be canceled? From all the pictures I've seen on TV it sure looks like HELL! The perfect decor for this pagan "holy" day.

Come on: everybody knows it's Halloween everday in NYC.

They said that next October will be canceled

God some people are dumb

-Pretty much. :( Try again- NEXT year...

Hello this is an emergency, and I am a survival of the Hurricane Sandy in New York. What I want to know is if trick or treating has been cancelled or changed into a different date? I really want candy and their is still electricity in my neighborhood Sunset Park and their was no flood here, so do you think that it is cancelled? The only thing that died was several trees and some fishies, poor creatures.

So do you think that they are going to reshedule halloween? Or are they going to do something else? thank you for the info and sources would be nice
