You must not have seen TV lately. For the last three days the weather channel has had non-stop coverage of the hurricane. It has been the lead story on every news show. Much of the regular programming on the East Coast has been cancelled due to storm coverage. Every major website has the storm as its lead story.
Lower Manhattan and the waterfront have been evaculated. All public transporation in NYC has been suspended. This storm is so freaky it's been named "Frankenstorm". It's almost a thousand miles wide, and due to collision with other weather systems, has turned it's track 90 degrees. Turn your TV back on or look on your computer--you're missing history!
Catagory one storm: Huricane Sandy. I live up in Canada and even i know about it. Its hitting NYC pretty darn hard.

It's all just a liberal conspiracy. They've taped TV screens and speakers to your windows. If you go outside it's actually warm and sunny. Go see for yourself.
It seems like weather is really bad here in NYC and I'm not sure what is going on, I don't remember seeing anything on Weather Channel or the news, WTF is happening>?
