ISIS was always a threat to the US even before Obama ordered air strikes.
ISIS (Islamic Sunnis in Iraq and Syria) has been changed for a couple of months now to ISIL (Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant). The "Levant" means Arab nations to be conquered: Syria, Turkey, Lebanon, Cyprus, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Palestine, Jordan. The story behind the name change involves former Bush/Cheney [tortured?] detainee, the Iraqi-born Sunni Baathist Abu-Bakr Baghdadi whose furies against the United States began with the ILLEGAL 2003 invasion of Iraq by the lawless Cheney/Bush administration that ended 13 centuries of stabilizing rule in Iraq by the Sunnis. Yes, ISIL posed a threat to the U.S., to Israel, and to our European allies (the "West"), which is why there are now forty nations (thanks to the arbitration skills of our nation-saving, economy-growing, jobs-creating, terrorist-attacks-preventing President Obama) who are working together to "degrade and destroy" the ruthless ISIL.
The name change reveals why ISIL must be brought under control. The former ISIS was linked to al-Qaeda, yet another U.S. hating group, with al-Qaeda the supposed "superior officer" role. When ISIS crossed into Syria to do battle with another al-Qaeda-sponsored group al-Nusra Front, both groups trying to overthrow the Bashar al-Assad regime once the citizens rose up in rebellion, ISIS did so without asking permission of al-Qaeda, so the al-Qaeda leader Aymann Zawahiri became furious at what he saw as Baghdadi's insubordination and treachery, so Zawahiri ordered Baghdadi to confine his group activities to Iraq (see the letter printed in Al Jazeera News). In a defiant "Up yours, old man!" gesture, Baghdadi added the "Levant" to his group name, letting Zawahiri know ISIL would be taking over to set up a rigidly militant Islamic State (a caliphate, with Baghdadi as the new caliph of course), threatening al-Qaeda authority in the Middle East.
Yes. They hate Christians and Jews as well as atheists and anyone that isn't part of their group and want all of us dead. They would attack us relentlessly even if we had never mentioned their existence.
Yes. Being a threat (and a big pain in the a§§) is kind of the whole point of ISIS, no matter who's involved.
No.
Do you think that if Obama would have never got involve with Isis, they would still be a threat to the u.s ?
