Well yes and no. I've been in a similar position. Except that it wasn't such a serious crime and I'm not a famous actor. Initial joy at getting justice soon gives way to seething anger at the evil liar and the CPS's utter stupidity in bringing the case in the first place.
Yes, i do feel a sense of relief. I barely knew who this guy was before the trial (not a Corrie fan) but reading the reports made me feel very uneasy about the decision to prosecute.
I feel relief that a sensible jury can overcome the natural instinct to 'believe the victim' and instead say 'Hang on here, this doesn't make any sense'. Parts of the accuser's story were so bizarre that they were hard to believe.
I can't really comment (because Yahoo will make it disappear) but I think we all know who the child is and who her mother is; it is clear there is some major discord and tension in Le Vell's life, largely caused by him, but that doesn't mean he deserved to have these false accusations made. I hope this girl will come to feel the full weight of the terrible thing she has done, and apologise.
Yes but Le Vell's name has been dragged through the mud unlike the girl who decided after going on some dubious therapy sessions that he had raped her. Anonymity that was afforded to her should now be lifted.
The jury found him not guilty of 16 separate charges so obviously they were not taken in by this girls malicious lies.
Those on here who made insinuations about him before the trial had barely begun should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.
Not for the girl who accused him its not , she has been branded a liar
why would anybody put themselves through a court case unless it actually happened
I am not too sure about this one its certainly an odd story
Probably, yes, strange case all round, that one.
yeah
