Yahoo.ca has all sorts of news coverage of Remembrance Day here in Canada.
A few examples of that:

Maybe the US Yahoo places more importance on Memorial Day instead of Veteran's Day?
Whatever the reason, I'm sure they didn't intentionally mean to insult America's Veterans and War Dead by deliberately ignoring them.
Nov 11 is Veteran's Day?
It isn't called Veteran's Day everywhere. In Canada it's Remembrance Day. And we don't need a banner to prove we Remember. Throwing up a picture is no proof the corporation cares, it's an affectation.
I'm surprised that no one said that the world would end on 11/12/13.
It was originally Armistice Day from WWI. Commemorates the 11th month, the 11th day, the 11th hour.
Nov 11 is Veteran's Day in USA No mention on Yahoo! Displays complete ignorance on Yahoo!'s part.
