It has nothing to do about spying on Victor, Jack knows Devon is not passionate about his work, he can give that job to someone that really needs it, he needs to get out in the world and find something that he really loves.
Because Devon won't spy on Victor for Jack.
I saw that preview too. Probably because Devon won't spy on Victor
He doesn't gets fired, Jack's gives in and tells Devon to take a month long vacation and to do something with his life.
Jack tells Devon that because of the money he has inherited, he has lost the passion he used to have for the job and Jack wants people who are really passionate about their work to be working at Jabot
I think this frees up Devon for some story line they are planning for him
Devon has integrity and refused to spy on Victor
He doesn't want to have anything to do with Spying on Victor.
I saw a preview of Jack firing Devon, does anybody know why?
