Clark doesn't officially start flying until the last episode of the series. In the episode Metamorphosis, Clark has a dream and wakes up to find himself floating above his bed, in which he quickly falls. He has made super leaps throughout the show which almost mimics flying but never qualified as flying. When Jor-el took over Clark he flew away. In Supergirl Kara attempts to teach Clark to fly, but he falls after a very short period of time due to his lack of focus and confidence in his skill. I'm sure there is more but I dont remember. But yeah he officially learns to fly in the very last episode, which leaves me a bit dissapointed we couldn't get some flight time before then.
