Well, it's not a soap, technically, nor is it british, but the character of Tara on "the Walking Dead" is a lesbian, and she's pretty and feminine.
You mean 'Sapphic' - lesbian is so old school.

The word sapphic comes from the Greek lady called Sappho

so why not lesbian then? Because the word points directly to the Greek island of Lesbos. In our modern world we want to get away from that focus and instead think in terms of the wider world but retain the link with Sappho the great classical Greek poet - she.

I am a lesbian and in soaps that try to be like real life, I like to relate to characters and I think it would be good to watch a show where there are lesbian characters in it so I can relate to them and I enjoy storylines that feature them.
Are there any British soaps that feature attractive lesbian characters who are nice people? because some shows portyray them as butch and not very nice which I don't like because I am pretty feminine
Any soaps that reflect this? and who are the characters/actresses?
