I enjoy both for different reasons.

South park is more of a satire and social commentary, thanks to the short production time (one-two weeks per episode) it can quickly joke about current events and remain reverent. This also keeps the show fresh as they will always have something new.

Family guy, being a structured show can continue with longer running plots and return to past joke (continuity), as well as pulling large social jokes that are more theme based, then event.

Each one has it's one unique value, however I worry Family Guy will become like Simpsons and overrun it's time, where South Park has a smaller chance of getting stale or old to to easy changes.

I enjoy both, but agree I would vote for South Park only for the freshness and social commentary which isn't politically aligned.

However, picture is Seth were to team up with Matt and Tray, that woudl be one amazing co-project.
