1. Nope. For most of season 9, they didn't get at all.
2. Yes, but a whole season isn't gonna be dedicated to just hunting things. Every now and again there'll be an episode where they hunt something rather than deal with the angel business.
3. Of course! There's an episode in season 6 called The French Mistake and it's by far one of the funniest and best episodes. Most fans consider it their favorite episode. But there are light-hearted, goofy episodes here and there for each season.
4. Umm...kinda? I'm not sure how much you want me to give away...
5. Yes, he stops using them and drinking blood.
6. No :(
7. No :( They still care deeply for each other however.
8. Yeah, sometimes. Being witty, sarcastic, and funny are his personality so of course he'll still be like.
9. Chuck was always right, but I think when he didn't foresee Castiel and Dean going there that it was supposed to show that they were kind of "going against the system" in order to save the world. Not sure if that makes sense.
10. There will be a brief period where he's kind of like a villain, but not really. Other than that, yes he remains loyal to them. He's not at their side 24/7 however because he has to deal with angel business. Also, I don't know where you saw that Cas dies, but that's not true.
11. Well Castiel says God is real, but he left heaven because he was tired of the constant fighting. That's probably why he didn't take any part in it. A lot of people think Chuck was actually God because he wrote about what's gonna happen in the future. And there are other reasons they think so, but I don't want to ruin it since you're only just about to start season 5.
12. I don't remember which episode it is, but she says it actually kills them.
14. I don't think so, but I can't really remember. It hasn't played an important role in the past couple of seasons, so I doubt it.
15. I like Dean better. I really like Sam too, but his grouchiness and depressing moods turn me off from him. I like that even though Dean is still hurting inside too and hates himself, he still manages to put on a smile and do the best he can.
16. Yes.
You should continue watching but...
1) Yes but not for a long time.
2) No, not so far
3) Google ' Supernatural filler episodes'
4) No. (Most fan ship the brothers together or Dean w/Castiel)
5) When he comes back from hell he no longer has his powers, or urges to drink demon blood.
6) Sadly no.
7) Again sadly no
8) Sometimes, but after everything he's been through that's mostly gone from him
9) They were 'defying destiny' and going all team free will.
10) Briefly he will be a villian-ish character but he eventually goes back to the brother's side.
11) No he get purged of demon blood and it the urges to drink it by unknown forces
12) They say he is though he never makes an appearance and no main characters have seen him
13) I don't know
14) No, though it is looked for.
15) I like Sam better. Dean blindly obeys and worships their mean dad to much and Sam is a big sweet goof who actually tries to be his on person
16) Yes
I agree with Rina.
The good thing about watching on your own is the surprise.
If you know how a character is going to act or where the plot line is going..it won't have the same effect for you. Just keep watching and I hope you enjoy it!
I've recently gotten hooked on supernatural and just finished season 4. i just had a few questions about Dean and Sam for other fans of the show who have watched more than me...
1. Do Dean and Sam ever get really close again like they were in season 1/2 (or closer)?
2. Do they ever go back to just hunting demons without all the angel stuff like they did in season 1?
3. Are there any really good, not stressful episodes? Like how there were some goofy episodes in seasons 1-2 or ones where Dean picks up a girl, "light hearted" episodes, or really funny ones etc.
4. Do either of the brothers find "true love"?
5. Does Sam stop using his powers? I know he stops drinking demon blood after season 4 but does he ever use his powers?
6. Does Sam stop being so grouchy, moody, and depressing?
7. Do the brothers start getting along really well again? (kinda like question 1)
8. Does Dean ever go back to being less serious and worried, more cocky, witty, sarcastic, etc?
9. In the season 4 it was said that whatever the Prophet guy foresaw would come to pass. In the finale he saw Lucifer rising, and Dean and Castiel show'd up and the Prophet said "this isn't supposed to happen" and that Cas and Dean weren't supposed to be in this part of the story? how did he not foresee Dean and Cas? Why did he foresee something different? I thought his visions/word was like the exact future of how it would happen
