Well it sure does seem that way. I don't know why our government (in the US) wants to arm these rebels. They will turn around and use our own weapons against us..the first chance they get. Syrians hate Americans and everything we stand for. They have been raping their women, cannibalizing their dead victims etc. This is terrorist behavior. Assad might not be the best person in the world, but at least he kept peace in Syria (for awhile). I feel if he is pushed out as Syria's leader, someone much worse will end up in charge. We in the US should stay out of it.
FIRST While some rebels do come from other Arab nations..... the rebellion was started by Syrians.....Syrian CIVILIANS fighting oppression and abuse..... JUST LIKE THE IRANIAN REBELS THAT OVERTHREW THE SHAH...... It is the Syrian MILITARY that has no job but to kill civilians...... often innocent civilians......

I find it humorous you support the overthrow of the Shah..... but not the overthrow of someone more evil than him....... the Shah never used poison gas on his own people.....the Shah never fired artillery into cities or dropped bombs into cities populated by innocent civilians. .....the Iranian despot you hate; but the Syrian despot you support.....???? EDIT Saddam Hussein held elections..... always won..... Syria has had many elections and Hussein always won....... Your own ex-leader Abunenejad won election under questionable circumstances ..... protests over your elections even cost Iranian lives..... how can the people of a nation trust any election run by a dictator?????

I think that Israel and U.S. armed those rebels to killing Muslims and spread instability in those country for stability ans security for Israel.

As an Iranian I hear strange things from you! Ahmadinejad was legal president and never was a dictator. Being a dictator on Iran is Americans dreams that showed in western's Media.
