I'm a major fan of all three sherlock, doctor who and supernatural. supernatural is on it's 9th season. to describe spn very basically it's about two brothers, Sam who is the younger one and Dean who is older, they basically save people and hunt things meaning ghosts, demons, every evil thing you can think of and stuff like that, they usually end up saving the world alot and dying alot. just like Sherlock and Doctor who it Will make you cry ALOT. Overall it's a fantastic show and there is a bit of humor in it also. hope that helped, Allonz'y!
It's a little bit religious, but it's bearable. It's similar to Psych and Doctor Who at the same time; in a typical episode, they hunt down some monster or threat and kill it. It's a bit scarier than Doctor Who, but once again, bearable. If you enjoyed Sherlock and Doctor Who, I'm sure you'll enjoy Supernatural as well. Supernatural also has an extensive fandom and a gif for everything
One of my friends is crazy about doctor who and supernatural. In some ways they are kind of similar but at the same time really different. If you like things to do with angels and devils you'll love supernatural.
I am obsessed with Sherlock AND Supernatural! Supernatural is A LOT of things combined into one, but I seriously love it so much. It's scary at first, but you'll get used to it. And let me tell you, once you get into it, the tears won't stop!

It started out something like The X-Files in that it involved a new investigation of a monster or urban legend every week. In season 2 it became more of a serialized drama that incorporates mythological creatures. So in a way it's similar to Doctor Who.
