If the only criteria one uses to determine if they are "smart" or "uneducated" is their enjoyment of a particular TV show, yes, those people would feel stupid if the creator made such a statement. For those who use several criteria to determine if they are smart or educated, a statement like this would stand on it's own merit and not likely affect that person's conclusions about themselves.

I have never watched this program. I don't enjoy gross humor. However, I know many very intelligent people who do. I don't think anyone would care about the creator's intent, only the result.

You seem to be over thinking this. Just enjoy it for what it is, entertainment. It may not be everyones cup of tea, but for those who are not easily offended its a very funny cartoon.

I have enjoyed this show for years and enjoyed it's comedy. Then I became oddly curious if I or other fans of the show would feel stupid if Seth the creator of the show announced that his show was created for "uneducated people" to believe they are "smart" or "wise". Im not articulate so please excuse my half full question
