The show is about a zombie Apocalypse, they're version of zombies are called walkers. There's a sickness going around the air, so when you die, you get symptoms that lead up to turning into some dead person that walks around looking for living human beings so they can eat their flesh.

The only way to stop them is to shoot them in the brain. The show's cast are the survivors of the apocalypse, they're trying to live with all of theese walkers chasing after them.

I think this show would be pg 13.

They curse on the show, show graphic violence, and bring up very questionable moral decisions. The show's core is about survival and how to piece society back together. I have no idea if it would be appropriate for your granddaughter, but in my opinion, I wouldn't think a child so young should be exposed to that (it doesn't work out well for the children in the Walking Dead)

My niece saw the movie Zombieland when she was 9, and it became her favorite movie. She's 13 now and still loves it. The Walking Dead is much less intense than Zombieland.

I am grandmother of 9 year old girl whose granddad thinks it's great that she wants to watch walking dead with him. I've never seen simply because of name. am I paranoid or is he crazy for thinking appropriate for young girl?
