Unusually nice winter weather on Y&R AND Days?

I saw that too. They already have leaves on the trees and the flowers are in bloom. I actually live in Wisconsin, and the trees are just budding now, and the flowers have not even come close to blooming. It has been raining a lot, and in the 50s. They need to be more realistic on the show.

It's a conspiracy to subtly blame soap operas for global warming.

Just kidding. I just think logistically it is easier (and cheaper). These shows put out five episodes a week! That is hard work and if they're constantly having to redress the set with snow, rain, etc. making it unpredictable so it is realistic it would just take up too much time. Also, I personally enjoy looking at the fashion so if they start putting the actresses in burkas and hats every time they need an outdoor scene, I honestly don't think I'd be as interested. I never even noticed that it was unseasonably warm, even if I did i would think "I wish I were THERE right now..."

And I'm up north and we have flowers blooming already.

Yes I notice how in GC that it is SUPPOSED to be freezing temperature with ice and snow (did see some snow when they shown Victor ranch tho), but mostly at night time.

It is spring right now so they are going with the flow. I notice how in the winter times how everyone was at the park even the twin were there, are they OUT of their MIND!?

I couldn't be out in that type of weather in the winter for even 5 minutes! Like I've stated before the writers don't know the different since they NEVER been there!

Hey; Don't people watch "Y&R" to " get away from it All " ??! Well They're NOT gonna be Watching it for LONG- if They can See the SAME Thing- outside Their Front Doors ( & WITHOUT Commercials ) !! ;)

I noticed that yesterday Friday 5/2/14 on Y&R Jack and Kelly were in the park with the tress all in bloom ..... in reality that's not the case, they were rushing things a bit.

I watch Y&R and I noticed that too. They'd wear coats and sometimes hats and gloves but you could tell it was taped on a set in LA, not Wisconsin. Nobody was ever really cold lol They really never even pretended to be.

I thought it was strange with those blooms on the trees. Oh well I guess they are tired of the snow.

Did you know theres a new video going around that teaches you how to cheat at online roulette? I've already made $6000 after watching it. The tutorial for this 'cheat' can be viewed here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMn3sdBcN...

Ok, so Y&R is set in Genoa City Wisconsin, smack dab in the Polar Vortex this past winter. YET, I don't remember seeing very much "snow" on the ground in the outdoor scenes or out the windows.

Days is set in Salem, USA, but pretends to be near Chicago (Nicole talking to Liam's ex-wife & telling her "This is a Chicago area code"). Another smack dab in the Polar Vortex. SO, if that's the case, where was the "snow" on Days?

I saw lots of short sleeves, dresses, skimpy outfits better suited to spring & summer weather. Sure, they grabbed coats a few times on both shows.

I would've settled for a few rainy episodes on both shows. Yes, they've done storms on both shows, thunder, rain, tornadoes on Y&R, etc. I've seen "snow" on both shows, more in years past that this past winter. Were the set people sleeping on the jobs or showing us nice weather as an escape from this past winter's horror?
