Michael, the Columbine massacre occurred because two boys---with guns---decided they were NOT going to be bullied any more. Personally, I think their revenge was a little extreme. But, I can understand the rage that prompted the murders. Here is a thing to think about. Not all bullied kids commit suicide. Here's an accurate statistic. 75% of all mass murderers were bullied as children. Here is a WORSE statistic. The United States of America has TWICE the number of mass murders than ALL the rest of the countries on earth---COMBINED! Going back to Columbine. One young man was spared. The killers confronted him, and let him pass---unharmed. The reason? Simple. They admitted he had never bullied them. Here is the last shocking statistic I will share. In 2012, 98% of ALL bullied high school students---brought a weapon to school---at least once.

Schools don't do anything about Bullying. Anyone who has went to an American school knows that sometimes even the Teachers contribute to the bullying. I'm speaking from personal experience. Teachers and Students both can be cruel individuals. Now, this isn't me saying all Teachers are bad, but there's some out there that don't deserve to be Teachers in my opinion.
