1 Maddie left the UNLOCKED apartment to look for her parents, on the third consecutive night of being left with her siblings & no parent present to look out for danger, protect or care.
She could have been inadvertently knocked down & killed by a driver, who did not expect a three-year old to wandering around in the road late at night.
They bundled her body into the car, drove away & dumped Maddie lord knows where, because they're harbouring a tragic awful secret.
2. Maddie died in the apartment by accident, mum returned found her lifeless, decided no-one would believe it was an accident, moved her body to the hire-car & returned to the tapas bar in an staged agitated state and declared 'Maddie's gone & he's taken her'.
Turns out after the fact, her parents 'believed' the children were being watched & 'implied' a pervert had snatched her, rather than take the blame for leaving 3 small, helpless children on their own while they wined/dined yards away, out of direct sight & ear-shot.
3. Maddie was abducted by aliens.
This has been playing on my mind a lot lately, and has been making me wonder. There are so many different theories, a lot of them surrounding her family and the staged kidnap of her. I honestly can not bring myself to think that her own family would sell her off for money, I just feel so sorry for them and hope so dearly that they're innocent.
One theory I've heard is that Madeleine's abductor struck at around 9:30pm, the time Gerry went to check on the children. It is believed that the kidnapper was already in the house, and had approximately 10 seconds to conceal himself whilst Gerry opened the back door and made his way to the bedroom. There are four possible places he could have hidden: the parent's bedroom, the family bathroom, in Maddie's wardrobe or underneath Maddie's bed. As Gerry went into the room, he failed to realised that the bedroom door that he had shut just half an hour earlier was now open. He also didn't explore far enough into the room to have full view of Maddie's bed. I think it's terribly haunting to think that Gerry and his child's abductor could have been in the very same room at the same time.
I know there are many other theories and that it was very irresponsible of the parents to leave their 3 young children alone whilst they went out to eat, but if what they claim it true - that they could see all entrances to the house - then I don't know what to think. Why leave the back door open 'in case of a fire'?
I honestly hope that Maddie is being well looked after and will be found alive, even if there is an incredibly low chance of this.
This is truly a very chilling and mysterious story.

her parents need to answer all the questions and stop hiding behind their fake abduction theory as it is not true
She's almost certainly dead. Her killers use their respectability, wealth and legal knowledge to escape punishment
I know it sounds insensitive, but me and my family are discussing it, some reckon she was killed, I reckon someone changed her name and is raising her as their own, some reckon she's been shoved In a basement somewhere,,
