DVD. I can't stand watching commercials, and on DVD you can watch multiple episodes in succession.
DVD/ Bluray box sets are better simply because of the lack of commercials (Y) and the fact that they tend to come with bonus features and excess footage (behind the scenes and deleted scenes) which are always fun to watch.
I was going to say both, but dvd is superior in the fact that you get the whole episode, some networks tend to splice an episode, for time constraints, etc, can be so frustrating
having the shows on dvd you have no ads and they put extra on the dvd
