Kony2012 was nothing but a scam designed to make you mad and then send money for these "kits" of xeroxed posters and stickers. Kony2012 is not a charity. 100% of your money goes into the guy's pocket. Last I heard the owner of Kony2012's website had been arrested for masturbating in a movie theater shortly after the popularity explosion of the Invisible Children movie.
So, no, Kony hasn't been caught, and Kony2012 was never about actually doing anything about it. It was just a make-money-fast scam that, unfortunately, 1000s of people fell for.
I believe about 70 or 82 percent of all money gained was given to "advertising". So it was a scam, based on a real thing. In reality kony is true, but kony 2012 just abused it for money.
Most people think its a scam so they disregarded it.
It also didnt help that the spoke person for the organization was flapping his dong in public.
They tired of him and opted out.
people forgot about him, and they were wating alot of the money.
