There were reports that your departure had to do with salary issues. Is that true?
It had to do with everything involved with it, everything combined.
So, to be clear, money was a piece of the puzzle?
Yes, a piece of the whole thing, and it all showed me I need to move forward, not backwards, and I've been doing this for 25 years. How many shows ― how many jobs ― last that long? I felt that I needed to go in this new direction to give myself the chance to do all the creative things that I haven't had a chance to do in 25 years, because I've dedicated so much of my life to this. That's what I want the fans to hear, how dedicated I am to them. I wouldn't have done it all this time if I wasn't dedicated. It's not just a job! I could do lots of other jobs. I had music, I had lots of other acting things.
So that's what happened to you? What was the sign you saw?
One was a car accident that my wife and I just got into. I've never been in an accident in my entire life. I was stopped, completely stopped, in rush hour traffic, and somebody hit us so hard that it spun us around, took out a light post, took out everything around us, destroyed the brand-new truck that we had just gotten, which probably saved our lives. We had just come from a wonderful meeting of new beginnings.

The actor that plays Ridge left the show last year decided it was time to retire and ever since his decision the retire are pretending he's in now working in Paris cause he broke up with Brooke because she lied to him about being in contact with Deacon Sharp so he tolled her a while before if you lie to me one more time and that's it I'm out of here and so she lied and he dumped her( short version)
They were supposed to bring in a new actor to play the role of Ridge but no news yet I keep waiting to see who will replace the actor
Right now Brooke has a thing for Bill Katie's husband whats new that's Brooke for yeah no boundaries and Bill well he's head over heals for her on Mondays show its going to be good the 25 th of March Katie pushes Bill for answers I wonder if she gets the ones she wants
Ronn Moss retired from the slow , he was having prblems plus he was in a car accident in real life but is doing well so far.
I would like to see him come back since this Ridge we have now is so sloppy looking at times!
He decided that after doing the show for 25 years, that he had enough, and wanted to move on, so he left the show.
after 25 years of hopping in bed with god knows what he jut got wore out. and he wanted a boat load of cash. the producers said bye.
