Fewer people would have been killed. The buildings would have been mostly empty, and if it were at, say 11:30, there would be almost no people flying from Boston to San Francisco, so the planes wouldn't have had as much fuel. All in all, it would be just as frightening.
9/11 has 24 hours in the day, 12 in daylight 12 in darkness every year...
ts the same as any other day in the year not allowing for the 4 seasons...
The Dancing Israeli's who had video cameras set up to document the event before the impacts would have drawn too much local attention with large studio lights pointed up at the towers!
I think it would actually be even worse. It's hard to see at night and people would have harder chances of trying to survive, and since it's harder to see it might be harder to get rid of extinguishing the fire. There is also more wind and the fire could have spread. It's better that this horrific tragedy did not occur at night.
I suppose they had to go by the times of the aircraft they hi-jacked. It would have been harder to fly them into the buildings at night as well as making the rescue operation much harder.?
Far fewer caualties but the planes may have missed their targets and ploughed into urban areas?
The end result would have been much the same, except that there would not have been many people in the building, and the fatelities would have been much less.
A lot fewer casualties, which is why it happened during the day.
