What if it was the Running Dead?

What if the Walking Dead actually had fast zombies instead of slow zombies? Would they have gotten as far as they are now?

Sometimes I'm amazed at how zippy those zombies are. The one that Carl ran into this past season, when he went off on his own in that house. In theory that zombie had been locked up and unable to eat anything for at least a year or more, yet he had the energy to attack a 14 year old to the point that he was hardly able to get away?

One thing that is obvious is it really isn't the zombies anymore who are the main problem - they've pretty much figured out how to handle them, it's the humans who have posed the biggest threat to them.

At the start of Season 1, zombies were able to run, climb over stuff, open doors, smash doors with rocks.

This was explained that they had more of their old self memories left but now the infection is getting older and they don't remember all this.

i'm guessing they would have made it just as far because if they didn't it wouldn't be a tv show at all. the story would probably be somewhat different too. i doubt they would be busy fighting all these other people cause they'd have to be worrying about the running zombies.

rule #1: cardio

possibly. but the walking dead isnt referring to the zombies. its actually referring to the characters.
