What is &the wall& in almost human?

why is there a wall, did I miss that part?

A wall dividing the city in twon sections? A watch commander? Everyone is afraid to go to the other side?

I think we'll see Jon Snow and the rest of the night watch very very soon.

Now, seriously, no one knows yet.

In most futuristic tales, there are the cities that are pleasant and peaceful, and they are the most sought-after to live in, usually because other areas have been torn apart by war, or are uninhabitable due to radiation or other man-made ailments.

I assume that this is the case with "The Wall" in Almost Human, but at the same time, there are many inconsistencies, like how things are supposed to be futuristic, but people still drive cars and no one is using flying cars, hoverboards, etc. Maybe it should be renamed "Almost Futuristic."

This is not the first time it has been mentioned, though I missed the references myself in several other episodes. The 'Almost Human' wiki gives you the list of episodes that reference The Wall and what was said:

http://almosthuman.wikia.com&...

i think it would like the wall in judge dread, Mega-City One, the other side of the wall is "Cursed Earth".

This episode is the first time it's been mentioned. So presumably we'll learn more in upcoming episodes.
