Buffy the Vampire Slayer to me will always have a special place in my heart though.
Game of Thrones is amazing not only in story telling which is amazing but also in the complexity of the characters, the characters can't be defined as bad or good, I think this show has the most realistic view on humans in everything I've ever watched. Plus, the places they go to are amazing.
Orphan Black, honestly,has THE best actress in television right now, she is well on her way to become the Meryl Streep of this generation.Tatiana Maslany has played 12 characters on Orphan Black and I swear to you that those are 12 different people and you will be saying BULL **** THOSE ARE 12 TWINS!!!! I'm not joking, she is seriously amazing. They even said at the Emmy's that she was snubbed of a nomination, I mean, even the Emmy's admitted their mistake. Several actors have mentioned how much they admire Tatiana, anyway. On top of the amazing peformance of this actress, the story telling is also amazing, great writing and AWESOME CGI, they get the clones to interact with each other and touch each other andit honestly looks like there are two people on screen. I mean, it's just mind blowing.
Orange is the New Black, is something that can't even be described. The show is amazing in every since of the word. It touches on very sensible subjects in the most natural way, it's funny as hell and also amazing acting. This year the show has been recognized by everything, and it is well deserved.
And Buffy the Vampire Slayer, is a more typical show that has the capacity to make you the biggest fangirl/fanboy to have ever lived. The show started in the 90's but it's way ahead of it's time. I mean, it was created by Joss Whedon, nothing else other than amazing could come out of it.
Orange Is The New Black because it has interesting characters, brilliant writing, outstanding story lines and because it can shift between comedy and drama so amazingly that it leaves you wanting more and more. It is without a doubt more funny than any show (currently on the air) including The Big Bang Theory and as of the finale of Breaking Bad, also the most dramatic.
Probably a variety show, like Carol Burnett's old one. Had something for everyone; comedy, a bit of drama, pathos. Music and dancing, also.
You shouldnt be in the comedy section. Anyway, I'd say Breaking Bad.
that is a TOUGH ONE!! i judge a truly great show by how it makes me laugh, keeps me interested and moves me to tears..
Buffy the vampire slayer (i cried when she took her sister's place and gave her life to save the world)
supernatural (i cried when sam sacrificed himself by throwing Lucifer and himself, into the pit of hell)
sons of anarchy (when jax sees his kidnapped son with a good family, and decides to give him up so he will have a better life)
scrubs (when dr. cox loses it because 3 of his patients died in one day)
(didn't expect that last one, did you?)
Seinfeld, Fringe, Wilfred, Breaking Bad, Colbert Report, South Park..."At Midnight" is definitely becoming one of my favorite shows; it is absolutely hilarious every single night.
MASH
It can be any genre, from any country, on any network or cable channel, at any time past or present.
My personal favorite has got to be;
Battlestar Galactica (The re-imagined version) - I must have watched the whole 4 seasons from start to end about 30 times by now and I love it each time. I will never get bored of watching it again and I don't think any other TV show even comes close.
